After graduated from Gazi University, Faculty of Economics in 1990, she worked under the umbrella of Koç Financial Services within the Koç Group and undertook various responsibilities in different business areas and in different markets. In addition to providing financial resources, she has specialized in project finance, risk management, financial analysis, sales management, budget and performance management. She took an active role in the procurement processes and took part in risk structuring within the scope of Basel criteria and also transformation projects at Koçbank, Koçbank & Unicredit merger and Yapı ve Kredi Bankası A.Ş. After working as the Commercial Banking Sales Management Regional Manager at Yapı Kredi Bankası A.Ş., she worked with the board of directors of a foreign partnered financial institution on corporate governance, growth and efficiency strategies, and in parallel, she worked as a consultant within the scope of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) Small and Medium Enterprises Consultancy Program; and in the same year, she founded the company ‘Hera Strateji ve Yönetim Hizmetleri A.Ş.’ Nalan Uysal, who entered the technology-based entrepreneurship ecosystem as a TÜBİTAK Business Mentor in 2016, received her BKS License in 2017. She has investments in seed stage, early stage and growth stage companies; and had been the member of "Investment Environment Development Board" running execution functions in TRAngels Financial Services A.Ş. between the years 2018-2021 and also she has voluntarily contributed to the ecosystem as Co-Chair of Angel Investors Group. Nalan Uysal, as being officer on the Board of Directors in various companies, has been contributing to the work of the Family Companies Corporate Governance Working Group as a member of the Corporate Governance Association of Turkey (TKYD) since 2015, and also has been on the Supervisory Board of TKYD as of 2021.

Çağrı Yoltar is a cultural anthropologist and gives advise to board of Hera on the issues of demographic and cultural characteristics and transformations that companies go through. She received her Ph.D. degree from Duke University in 2017 and she is currently working at Koç University as a post-doctoral researcher. She holds two MA degrees in Sociology and Science, Technology and Society Studies from Boğaziçi University and Istanbul Technical University, respectively, and a Bachelor’s degree in Management Science and Engineering from Istanbul Technical University.
